Conditions for concluding an accommodation contract

  1. Villa Julius & Emma P. (hereinafter referred to as the hotel or accommodation provider) provides services according to its classification corresponding to the level of the hotel.
  2. The accommodation and the amount of services of the guest is always defined during the binding reservation and for this type of accommodation the guest is charged the corresponding price according to the valid price list.
  3. The hotel is entitled to give priority to guests who have a valid reservation and who properly register on site or online. Guests are required to present a valid ID, ID card or passport upon arrival, sign the registration card, and provide a guarantee by prepaying cash or authorizing a credit card in the appropriate amount. The receptionist will issue the guest with an information card indicating the name of the hotel, the guest's name, room number and the time for vacating the room on the last day of the stay. This will result in the conclusion of the Accommodation Contract in accordance with the provisions of §2326 et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll. (Civil Code of the Czech Republic). The receptionist will give the guest the room key (according to the number of persons). The accommodation contract is always concluded in writing. At least a written or e-mail confirmation of the reservation or filling in the registration card is sufficient to comply with the form requirement.
  4. The processing of guest personal data for accommodation purposes is governed by GDPR rules according to the current legislation, details are on the hotel website. The guest hereby gives consent to the accommodation provider to process and store his/her personal data, within the scope of the data provided, for the purpose of providing accommodation and registering guests within the meaning of Act No. 565/1990 Coll., on local fees and Act No. 326/1999 Coll., on the residence of foreigners in the Czech Republic and on amendments to certain laws. The more detailed obligations of the guest and the accommodation provider regarding the keeping of the register and the housekeeping book are laid down in the above-mentioned legislation.
  5. If the guest does not present a valid ID (ID card, passport), the hotel is entitled to refuse accommodation to the guest.
  6. Guests under the age of 18 will only be accompanied by an adult.
  7. On the basis of a confirmed reservation, the hotel is obliged to accommodate the guest from 14.00 to 22.00. After this time the room is reserved for the guest, unless otherwise specified in the order. Any early check-in before 2.00 pm must be agreed in advance at the time of booking the room and await written approval and possible pricing of this extra service by the hotel.
  8. The hotel is not obliged to accommodate guests without a confirmed reservation and guests arriving after 22:00.
  9. Both the accommodation provider and the guest are obliged to comply with all the laws of the Czech Republic. They are also obliged to comply with any government regulations concerning the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the Czech Republic. This is especially the case when there is, for example, a state of emergency and the corresponding hygiene restrictions, which both the accommodation provider and the guest are obliged to observe. If the guest does not comply with such declared restrictions (e.g. antigen tests, compulsory masks, vaccinations, etc.), the accommodation provider is entitled to terminate the accommodation contract immediately without any claims from the guest. If the Guest is unable to provide the required documentation upon arrival within these restrictions, the Host shall be entitled to refuse to conclude the Accommodation Contract (despite a valid reservation) without any obligation to refund any fees or funds already paid. If such restrictions are imposed during the Guest's stay (i.e. the Accommodation Contract has already been concluded), the Hotel is obliged to notify the Guest of such fact, including the consequences of non-compliance.
  10. Cancellations made before the arrival date, no-shows are subject to the applicable cancellation policy. In the event of early termination of the stay by the guest without serious reasons caused by force majeure, will be charged according to the original booking.

The landlord's liability for the belongings of the guest

  1. In the event of loss or theft of an item, this must be reported immediately to the hotel staff/reception, who will contact the Police of the Czech Republic.
  2. The hotel is only liable for damage to stored items if the items have been stored in a designated place or handed over to one of the hotel staff for safekeeping. The hotel is not liable for other left or forgotten belongings of guests. The hotel is liable for jewellery, money and other valuables only if they have been deposited in the hotel safe or taken into custody by the hotel or if they have been damaged by the actions of a hotel employee. The accommodation establishment is liable for money and items stored in hotel room safes according to the applicable Czech legislation. The right to compensation must be filed with the hotel within 15 days after the injured guest has become aware of the damage. Items forgotten or left in the room after the guest's departure are stored by the hotel for a maximum of 3 months.
  3. In case of loss of the room key, the guest is obliged to immediately report the loss to the reception. In case of failure to do so, the hotel will not be liable for any damages related to the loss of the key. The guest will be charged a fee of 500,-CZK for the loss of the key.

General accommodation rules

  1. Upon the repeated arrival of a guest already accommodated in the hotel and during his/her stay in the hotel, the guest is obliged to present a valid hotel accommodation card upon request of the receptionist or other authorized hotel employee.
  2. If a guest under the influence of alcohol or drugs does not provide a guarantee of compliance with the accommodation rules, he/she may be denied entry to the hotel or his/her stay may be terminated (withdrawal from the Accommodation Contract).
  3. Only persons who are free from infectious diseases are allowed to use the hotel. The guest is obliged to inform the reception upon arrival to the hotel about his/her possible health problems (disability, impaired eyesight, hearing, etc.). This information may help to ensure medical assistance if necessary or easy evacuation of guests in case of fire or other serious emergencies.
  4. For serious operational reasons, the hotel may offer the guest accommodation in another accommodation facility, but always at least in the same category.
  5. If a guest orders a certain room type and the reservation is confirmed, the guest will be charged the agreed price even if the hotel accommodates the guest in a multi-bed room or a higher room category.
  6. If a guest requests an extension during their stay, the hotel may offer a room other than the one they are staying in for capacity reasons.
  7. Common areas are available for receiving visitors. Guests can only receive visitors in the room with the consent of the hotel receptionist between 08:00 and 22:00.
  8. The guest must not allow visitors and third parties who are not registered for accommodation (do not have a contract of accommodation with Villa Julius & Emma P.).
  9. From 22.00 to 07.00, guests are obliged to respect the nighttime quiet in all areas of the hotel and its surroundings.
  10. In case of illness or injury, the hotel will arrange for medical assistance or transport to hospital. The guest is responsible for any expenses incurred.
  11. Guests are entitled to free wireless internet access via wifi in all areas of the hotel. However, the hotel assumes no responsibility in case of damage to the guest's computer. The hotel recommends using its own firewall for internet access.
  12. Dogs and other animals are not allowed.
  13. Guests are only allowed to park their vehicles in designated parking spaces and only on the express instructions of a hotel staff member. Parking is charged according to the valid price list.
  14. Smart Casual dress code is required in the public areas of the hotel. The hotel staff is entitled to draw the guest's attention to this fact at any time and if the guest fails to correct the defective condition, he/she may be denied access to the common areas of the hotel.
  15. Guests are not allowed to consume their own food in the common areas of the hotel.
  16. Children under 12 years of age are not allowed in the hotel.
  17. When leaving the room, the guest is obliged to close the water taps in the room, turn off the lights, turn off electrical appliances that are not in use during the guest's absence and close the windows. In addition, disconnect electrical appliances and other electronic devices from the mains immediately after the end of active use or charging of these appliances and devices. Electronic devices may only be charged when the guest is present in the room.
  18. Electrical appliances and other electrical equipment are considered to be electrical appliances and other electrical equipment within the meaning of these Regulations, in particular, but not exclusively, also chargers for consumer electronics (phones, tablets, PCs, charging batteries for electric bikes, scooters, drones, flashlights), and all electrical appliances and other electrical equipment brought in by the guest and connected to the accommodation provider's electrical network must not be damaged and must bear the CE mark of conformity (CONFORMITY EUROPE) and be marked with the following information: (a) the rated voltage or its range, (b) the rated wattage or current, (c) the name or trademark of the manufacturer or responsible dealer, (d) the name of the make or type, (e) the class of protection against electric shock, (f) the IP XX rating of the appliance, (g) the rated current of the pre-wired fuse, (h) the environment for which the appliance is intended.

Safety, guest liability for damage caused

  1. Carrying weapons into the hotel is prohibited. Exception in special cases (security of state representatives, etc.) is granted only by the hotel's top management.
  2. Guests are not allowed to move, damage or use inventory or other equipment in the room or other areas of the hotel for purposes other than those for which it was intended. The guest may not make any alterations or tamper with the electrical system or other installations.
  3. Guests are responsible for damages caused to hotel property.
  4. The guest is liable for any damage caused by him/her, unless he/she proves that it was not his/her fault. This entitlement also applies to damage that is discovered after the guest has left.
  5. Guests are obliged to report any defects immediately and to comply with fire safety regulations. Evacuation plans are available in the corridors.
  6. For safety reasons, it is not allowed to use your own electrical appliances except for devices used for personal hygiene of the guest (shaver, hair dryer, etc.) and low-power electrical appliances. Appliances used for personal use such as laptops, mobile phones, tablets, camera chargers, etc.
  7. The guest is obliged to allow access to the room to persons designated by the hotel.
  8. Guests are not allowed to take sports equipment and items (e.g. bicycles, skis) to the room, for which storage is reserved at the reception.
  9. Smoking is not allowed in any part of the hotel. In case of non-compliance, the hotel charges CZK 5000 for extra cleaning. In the event that a guest causes a fire alarm to be triggered by his/her careless behaviour, he/she will be charged for a false alarm upon presentation of a statement from the fire station.
  10. Guests are not allowed to use explosive substances (fireworks) in the hotel premises or in its vicinity.
